Job Profile: HR Manager - Isango! an e-commerce startup
The Company: Isango! is an e-commerce startup in the online travel industry based out of UK & India and sells activities, tours and excursions to customers across the globe.
The HR Manager would have the following responsibilities: Strategic Responsibilities Working with top management to define corporate HR policies. Developing sound HR processes and practices aligned to Isango! business strategy Preparing organizational learning & competency roadmaps in conjunction with business leaders. Preparing training programs aligned to learning roadmaps. Operational Responsibilities End to end management of recruitment for Isango! This would include Developing manpower roadmaps, Liaising with educational institutes & managing campus recruitment programs, Liaising with placement consultants to manage experienced hiring, Preparing job descriptions & interviewing candidates. Working with the HR Administration team to manage the following HR information and employee documents Managing employee discipline, security, and all such other administrative matters Exit interviews and issue analysis of reasons leading to separation Full-and-final settlement to the separating employees. Managing employee retention Managing employee HR related concerns and issues.
Skills and Experience Profile The successful individual will be an experienced HR professional with the ability to think creatively & independently, meet aggressive deadlines and be a team player. The following skills would be required: 4 years of experience as an HR generalist at the business unit level. Experience in unstructured business environments such as startups, new business units for MNCs & leading Indian companies.
A high level of comfort with MS Word / Powerpoint / Excel Excellent interpersonal & business communication skills
Compensation - Would be the best in the industry Education: Masters degree in HR from a leading institute: IIM/ XLRI / TISS / Symbiosis.
