HR Opening at Oracle

Location: This position is based out of Hyderabad.

Role:
Serve as an independent point of contact for all HR services (excluding recruitment and benefits administration) for a business unit of 300-400 employees within the Applications Division. As an HR team member, lead and/or support organizational initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Retention Management
Conceptualize, design and drive retention initiatives for the business unit. Educate management on retention practices.

Organizational Development:
Diagnose, initiate & conduct organizational development initiatives to manage change and to foster effective work group relationships and communication processes.

Performance Management & Career Development:
Educate employees and management on Performance Appraisal & Career Development processes & coach them to ensure effective execution.

Training & Management Development:
Assist management in identification of behavioral training & development needs for employees. Liaise with Organization Talent Development team in design and delivery of training programs. Educate employees and managers on competency-based development. Act as a coach to employees and managers.

Compensation & Benefits:
Educate employees and management on compensation management processes, and advise management on compensation practices. Handle queries related to employment policies and benefits.

Employee Relations:
Assist employees and management in interpretation of Oracle Code of Conduct and compliance policies. Investigate potential policy violations and initiate appropriate disciplinary action.

Regular Activities

Employee Interface
Interface with employees and managers to understand concerns and opportunities at the individual, team and organizational level. Resolve issues and provide appropriate solutions to management. Conduct exit interviews, maintain and analyze attrition data.

Management Reporting
Maintain, analyze and report organizational data periodically for management review.

Requirements

Education: MBA or equivalent in HR Management

Experience: 2-6 years, post-MBA within the HR domain, in a similar role, preferably within the IT industry.
