The Position; HR Manager – Indian Sub Continent Location: Chennai

Reporting to Director, Human Resources – Asia Pacific (Based in Hong Kong )


Leads HR Strategy and execution in assigned region
Actively partners with Business leaders and other key stakeholders to accomplish business goals
Manage HR staff in the region and responsible for functional excellence
Manages administration functions in the assigned region
Align Organization to cope with business size, growth targets and optimize operations footprint with emphasis on delayering and optimizing resources in growth areas
Drive business growth through Vendor and local sales and execution of account strategy
Help create an Organization that is focused and streamlined so as to offer customers ‘Best in Class’ turnaround time, accuracy and global consistency in quoting, sampling/proofing
Provide adequate resources to support initiatives and ensure staff are equipped with relevant skills in order to create a competitive advantage
Manage ramp up of new infrastructure involving significant structural changes, management talent sourcing and upgrade needed to resource growth areas

Must Haves:

Bachelors degree is a must
Masters/ Post Graduate Diploma or equivalent in HR is desirable
Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in HR
A mindset focused on the creation of added value for the company.
Strong Organization Skills
Strong leadership skills. A team player with evidence of successful team building and management development.
