Opening for HR-Head at Bangalore

It has 24 facilities in 12 countries and has over approximately 31,000 people.
Head- Human Resources , India
Location: Bangalore

The location for this position will be Bangalore and this position will report to the Vice President- Corporate cum Head of India on admin basis and to the Asia Pac Director Human Resources based in China.

Scope and Responsibilities:

Responsible for providing the strategic development of the staffing and organizational development processes, the implementation and the controlling and the adaptation of these processes in India
Secure career planning/development and their implementation such as training and job enrichment.
Takes responsibility for an accurate retention-program
Ensure effective roll out of Regional and Global policies and practices
Responsible for providing innovative direction and leadership for the organizations and employees
Develops & implements a holistic HR Plan focusing on systematic, cultural, skill & social development.
· Leads and or participate in critical organization strategic actions.
Provide support in new acquisitions and JV particularly in due diligence, cultural and change management processes
· Secure efficient HR administration services at assigned locations

Experience required; Personal attributes; Qualifications

Masters degree in HR is desirable. A Bachelor degree is a must.
8 plus years in the HR field touching on all aspects of HR including Plant level HR functions
Demonstrated strong leadership skills both in specifically leading others
and the ability to understand the mentality of higher level leaders
Demonstrated capability in recruiting and leadership development
Demonstrated proficiency in timeliness and quality of decisions
Ability to articulate the business/people connection to drive organization effectiveness
Able to work through ambiguity
Demonstrated capability to tackle tough issues with leadership team
Demonstrated ability to balance effective team involvement with independent decision making
Strong organization skills
