Opening for Associate Manager/ Manager-HR

HR opening with Philips, Bangalore.
Role: Associate Manager/ Manager-Human Resources required for

Key Areas of Responsibility:
§ Staffing – Will be responsible for staffing the Business Unit. Participating in the selection process. Coordinating and supporting the line managers in their interaction with the staffing group and facilitating the speedy closure of staffing reqs.
§ Employee Induction – administering the Buddy system for the BU. Making sure that all the new hires and inducted appropriately into the organization and in their roles.
§ Employee Communication - providing support to the administration of various employee internal communication programmes like coordinating HR open house meetings, HR round-table discussions. Follow through and closure of actions arising out of various employee interaction programmes.
§ Employee Engagement Programmes – coordinating the conduct of Gallup, Employee Engagement Surveys . Analyzing various report of EES, Gallup/Q12 and coordinating the conduct of employee focus groups. Follow through on actions and reporting.
§ Compensation & Benefits Administration – analysis of data, and follow-through on HR KPIs. Responsible for the C&B analysis and implementation for the BU.
§ People Development – analysis on the learning and development requirements of employees and ensuring that proper follow-up and support is provided to meet the competence gaps.
§ Management Development – supporting the GM-HR in the administration of the programme in the Business Unit
§ Employee grievance handling and redressal – acting as an Employee champion and recommending actions proactively, as possible. Analysing the employee concerns to recommend effective actions.
§ Special projects – as assigned by GM-HR from time to time.

Experience:
§ A minimum of 4– 6 years experience in all facets of HRM function in reputed companies

Experience:
§ A Post-Graduate Degree or Diploma in Management/ Personnel Management or HR management from a reputed institute or university.

Know-how:
§ Excellent depth of knowledge in contemporary HR practices and processes including performance and people development
§ Excellent knowledge of the labour market conditions impacting HRM
§ Knowledge of Management Development programmes
§ Knowledge of labour statutes relating to HRM

Skill set:
