HR Business Partner at Bangalore

The Corporation manufactures and markets the cars in India

The Corporation also has a Technical and Research & Development Center in Bangalore which has a team of over 550 employees. We are looking for a senior HR professional to head the Technical and R&D Center.

The Position

Human Resources Business Partner
Location: Bangalore

The location for this position will be Bangalore and this position will report to the Director of the Engineering Services, Bangalore and to the Asia Pac Vice President of human Resources based in China.

Scope and Responsibilities:

Develop a comprehensive recruiting strategy for both R&D and Engineering
Use the plan to build organizational bench strength
Develop a robust Progression and Succession plan for the Bangalore R&D Center
Develop the local leadership team through targeted training, coaching and counseling
Implement common HR administrative functions, ensure an organized and high quality delivery of the HR services
Lead strategic interventions using Change Management and other Organizational Effectiveness tools with both the leadership team and the HR team
Benchmark relevant compensation trends and provides proactive and sound compensation and benefit plan design
Implement GM global processes as appropriate
Lead a team of approximately 8 people, ensure their ongoing skill development
Experience required; Personal attributes; Qualifications

Master's degree in HR
10 plus years in the HR field touching on all aspects of HR
Demonstrated strong leadership skills both in specifically leading others and the ability to understand the mentality of higher level leaders
Demonstrated capability in recruiting and leadership development
Demonstrated proficiency in timeliness and quality of decisions
Ability to articulate the business/people connection to drive organization effectiveness
Able to work through ambiguity
Demonstrated capability to tackle tough issues with leadership team
Demonstrated ability to balance effective team involvement with independent decision making
Strong organization skills
