Role
The qualified candidate will proactively provide HR support to thePresident of QUALCOMM India and the Global Business Development teambased in Mumbai and Delhi.
You will advise the management team on HRpolicy, performance management, organizational development, teambuilding and employee relations matters;
making or recommending appropriate decisions consistent with the strategic direction of thegroup. In addition, you will have overall responsibility for QC India'sLearning and Development function with a strong linkage to our CorporateLearning and Development partners in the US.

Specific responsibilities are as follows:- Work with the management team to implement QC's Performance Managementprocess (twice per year). This role includes education and coachingmanagers on merit increase rationale, bonus and stock option awards aswell as promotions.- Work with managers to resolve interpersonal conflicts in the team.Counsel and coach employees as needed.- Work with the managers to design and deliver appropriate interventionsto build a strong, cohesive team.- In consultation with the Sr. HR Manager and Corporate Learning andDevelopment team, identify and implement relevant training programs forQUALCOMM India. Design, implement and track appropriate trainingmetrics.- Interact with employees on a regular basis to understand theirconcerns and highlight those to the Sr. Management/Sr. HR Manager.- Work with the Sr. HR Manager to review local policies on a regularbasis.- Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with the Presidentof QUALCOMM India.
Skills/ExperienceThe ideal candidate will possess the following attributes
:- Must have min. 8 years HR Generalist experience with demonstrated working knowledge of Learning and Development.
- Excellent business acumen and the ability to think and actstrategically.
- Is able to recommend and implement Training and OrganizationalDevelopment interventions after understanding the specific requirementof the client.
- Has excellent client interaction skills; can think at a high level,comes up with new ideas. Is process oriented and organized.- Is able to professionally manage day to day details; follows up andtakes things to their logical conclusion.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills; theability to build and manage relationships; and the ability to influencechange.
Additional Skills
In addition, prior experience with an MNC is desired as well asexperience in working with and communicating with a US Corporatepartner.
Education RequirementsBS/BA in Human Resources or Industrial Relations
