A US based IT / ITES company is looking for HR Lead - Senior Specialist for the IT Division to be based at CHENNAI !! MBA with about 7-9 yrs exp, preferable in IT / ITES domain.

The Human Resources Representative Lead-Senior Specialist provides general human resources support for assigned personnel and/or assigned projects or units to include staffing, retention, orientation, career development, performance management, compensation, employee relations and communications.
The HR Rep Lead ensures that HR policies and practices are consistent with company standards and are correctly communicated and implemented.
Additionally, the HR Representative Lead typically supports a group of 500-750 individuals across entities/geographies/workforces and supervises 1-3 HR Representative Generalists located in the same office/country.
Key Responsibilities: Performance Management and Professional Developmen to Implement and execute major Human Resources processes working with the team of HR Representative Generalists (e.g. annual and midyear promotions, annual performance management, compensation and salary administration) according to geographic/entity guidelines.
o Coordinate Partner and AP performance management processes, as requested (e.g. Partner unit awards and AP variable pay) under direct guidance from leadershipo Support career counselors and supervisors in the area of career development by educating them on the appropriate career development model/training information.
Employee Relations and Employee Transitionso Serve as an escalation point for personnel and employee relations issues and provide support and recommendations, as needed, to resolve personnel issueso Educate executives and HR Reps on HR policy, ensure compliance to the company's policies.Resource Planning (if applicable)
o Monitor supply of personnel by ensuring HR Representative Generalists maintain personnel information in all appropriate systems; monitor actual headcount, new hires, attrition vs. plan; report on capacity, chargeability, and availability; analyze trends and make recommendations and follow through with actions.
o Coordinate resource management process to ensure the appropriate resource supply to address forecasted business demands. Continually update resource plan and assumptions as business forecasts and actuals are updated throughout the year. Work closely with finance lead to ensure plans and targets are being achieved.
o Recommend sourcing strategy to drive workforce usage/mix plans, recruiting/joiner plans, and borrowing/loaning plans. Collaborate with recruiting teams and colleagues in other entities to ensure plans and targets are being achieved.
o Coordinate headcount plans to drive promotions, transfers, and attrition (both managed and un-managed) decisions. Oversee HR team's execution of these transitions.
General HR
o Work with customer leadership and finance to monitor personnel development budgets including training spend and community spend
o Respond to customer requests for analysis on key performance indicators relating to people issues (retention, illness hours, etc)
o Monitor skill gaps with leadership, execute plans for skill development areas and support HR Representative Generalists in identification of people to attend training
o Provide support to community activities including coaching on customer's communication plano Review results of People Surveys and work with customer leadership to affect change
o Supervise career management and development for the teamo Team with other HR Leads to share best practices and knowledge capital
