The Position
Title: Senior Manager - Capability Development
Reporting to:Vice President - Human Resources
Reporting in: Executive / Assistant Manager - HR
Location: Bangalore.
Professional Experience: Post Graduate in Human Resources with 10- 12 years of experience
RESPONSIBILITIES: ·
Assess accurately the employee strengths, career and development needs·
Design, customize and implement systems, programs and processes for building people capability in the company aligned with the company's talent management strategy, people's expectations and policy guidelines·
Design and implement reward and recognition systems in line with performance·
Identify potential talent for the company·
Conceive ways of engaging all employees in pursuit of business goals and objectives and strive to make the workplace a fun place·
Builds teams that are highly trained and motivated, to achieve the overall goals of the company·
Defines the capabilities required in the team, identifies situations where team members can help each other out and build on each others capabilities·
Anticipates conflicts and creates structures to maximize team success·
Shares process and capability requirements with the work group, building commitment to the change process·
Drives implementation of change plans by transforming / adapting processes and building capabilities. Eliminates all operations that are redundant and drives process simplification· Identification of training needs and development of training calendar·
Selection of right trainer to deliver quality output (internal and external)·
Delivery of training programs on competency assessment·
Maintaining skill inventory of the organization and determining gaps·
Timely conduction of training programs in accordance to the training calendar·
Managing the development needs of the organization·
Training of managers and employees to equip objective assessment·
Training budget planning and control.· Succession Planning
Key Interactions: The incumbent's key interactions within the organization would be with the Head of HR in India. Other interactions would be with HR Department and Functional Heads. External interaction would be with trainers, consultants, management institutes and apprentice offices.The Candidate: a.. 8 - 12 years experience in performance management, training and development, recruitment, managerial remuneration
